FBC Firebreak is now officially steam deck verified as well I'm excited for it as a remedy game, but I'm worried that it may be another example of a talented studio getting pushed into an unfamiliar multiplayer game, chasing trends. I also don't think the name is doing them favors, I don't think it's clear that it's tied to Control/Alan Wake universe enough to help sales, but it also doesn't feel suitable as a standalone game name either. Anyways we'll see how it goes, hopefully it will be great and be really successful.

I never use Moonlight directly with Steam. I connect to the Desktop so that I can see and use everything like if I was at the PC.

I was surprised to see they switched from wpa_supplicant to iwd. I love iwd on it's own, but the last time I tried to use it with NetworkManager it blew up on me. Seems like that may still be an issue.

I have a Steam deck and I have problems like this when I use the official dock on my main monitor. However, I have no problems with other monitors or a 3rd party dock with the same monitor. All that to say I would try new cables, a different dock, etc but thats just a guess.

All Steam Decks come with an SSD of varying sizes for their base storage, so you definitely have one. If I remember correctly the original 64GB LCD model had a slower nvme SSD, but all the other models should be similar performance SSD-wise. Maybe if you have an LCD Deck, and I have an OLED, that was the difference? I know they don't function much differently in most ways, but I have heard that there are some slight background tech differences between them that have them perform differently in some scenarios. Can't say we didn't try though!

They come detachable. This is the original legion go not the new S variant. It’s like an oversized switch.

Just tried it on Ubuntu LTS (as a flatpak) and my first impression wasn't great. The sign-in experience was nice with a QR code and verification code. But then the first thing on the video browse list was as ad, and the first video I played started with the same ad. There's no icon you can click to go fullscreen, but I have a wireless keyboard and eventually figured out F11 is a shortcut (F and Enter do nothing). But then about 3 minutes into the video, the whole app window went gray. Nothing clickable, just 100% gray. I was able to exit fullscreen and close out the app, but it was pretty obviously a Ui crash of some sort. This was just the first impression so I'll keep it installed and see if it improves with updates. Or maybe try it on Deck or my Endeavor machine.

I think it was supported really early on (or was supposed to be supported), but it hasn't worked for basically the entire time I've had my Deck. I don't play with keyboard very often so it never impacted me, but I know I've heard people complain about it.

While it won't help you this time. There's a spray cleaner called bw100. You can use to spray under buttons and things. Fixed a lot of drift issues without having to take the controller apart. Sorry for your steam deck hopefully you can't really see it when the screen is on.

SimplyDeckyTDP has a few features that specifically care about the sleep and resume features. You can disable setting the TDP when resuming, as well as disable any suspend actions. For me, the most useful setting is configuring the max TDP when resuming from sleep. You can encounter audio stutters when resuming games sometimes, and forcing the maximum TDP when waking the Steam Deck gets around those issues. That's interesting, I don't run into that issue often, but I know some games have issues with it. The pause games decky plugin already can fix some of those, but worth remembering this plugin as well for when people have trouble with that.

Valve employees are given time to work on self selected projects. I'm guessing that leads to more new projects than people taking over maintenance of existing projects.

Do not fucking tell me something and then fucking dig up dirt like this is some sort of fucking courtroom, my life was destroyed by psychiatric malpractice, and if any of those comments should've mattered, I'd be in jail right now because I did go before a judge and I was deemed to have been under the effects of incorrectly-prescribed medications for YEARS. If you ever so much as look for my name in a search engine ever again, I'll be hiring a private investigator and then a lawyer. Go away.
