It's pretty story focused but you can definitely have a ton of fun just wandering around stealing shit and fighting people if you want to, once you get good at stealing and fighting

can you please be more specific ? What proprietary parts you found ? Did you read the code ? Again code is open source and anyone can read it and modify it, there is no proprietary, the license used is MIT not another weird license that limit the code from being used for other purposes like commercial stuff

If you wanted to, you could post your /etc/resolv.conf and /etc/systemd/resolved.conf here. I don't know if there might be a configuration directory option for systemd-resolved, so keep an eye out for a potential directory like /etc/systemd/resolved.d that might have the configs instead.

Thanks for the detailed answers. So we can say that Wayland sacrifices lower latency in exchange for higher accuracy. According to this post Gnome allows you to change this behavior through an environment variable (MUTTER_DEBUG_ENABLE_ATOMIC_KMS=0 on Ubuntu 22.04). It should be a configurable option, considering the amount of people complaining about this mouse behavior. Oh and this is also why the cursor movement might visibly start stuttering during heavy GPU load. This is a problem that was solved back in the 80s but here we are… Sad, but does this problem only affect Wayland or also Xorg?

We just had new carpet installed a couple weeks ago and the contractors worked way harder and faster than I expected. Did 6 rooms (about 1800sqft) in one day. Well worth the disruption to the house.

Yeah, someone made a joke about how our president is a master of diplomacy: he managed to build a bridge between Serbs and Croats (as we all despise him), and also make the US, Russia and China agree on something (all 3 have dismissed the student-led protests). Not directly related to the anti-corruption protests, but Croats started boycotting their local supermarkets due to high prices, and the whole region soon followed suit. It's honestly almost bizarre that while most of the world is looking bleak, the Balkans are now engaging in optimism and mutal support. This is the first time since I developed self-consciousness that I can say that Serbs are optimistic about the future, as many believe that this might very well be the end for the current regime, and that a new system with an emphasis on direct democracy will take its place.

You can fight 1v10 later on, but in the beginning of the first game you were literally a peasant. It makes sense even a 1v2 would represent a mortally dangerous situation until you get better skills and gear. Really it's what made the game so good in my opinion, I've never felt a character grow like that before.

It's definitely harder after college, but not impossible. You're just going to have to put in a bit of effort. The two best recommendations I can make are: getting involved in some kind of hobby that's either inherently social (board games, team sports, etc.) or puts you together in the same place with other hobbyists (I've done a lot of socializing at rock climbing gyms, despite it technically being a solo thing) working a job that forces you to socialize in small doses (hospitality, customer service, etc). Being thrust into micro X interactions dozens of times a day makes it a lot easier to approach people in casual settings.
