Apparently since 2024, according to this
https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/switzerland/visa/
Missed that…
So i messed up that “Einreiseverbot” and “visa” is not the same. I think any non Swiss person can be refused to enter the country, if you are popular enough that fedpol fears about safety of the people in Switzerland.

Umm, in the article I posted is nowhere written islamist. Only extremist supporting for palestine (and hamas as it seems).
Fedpol will ban any too popular person it thinks has connections to hamas from entering Switzerland

You think NZZ has enough power to convince fedpol to ban any too popular individual from entering the country?

But he is guilty of neither

Palestinians have a legal right to resist occupation even violently

Palestinians have a right to armed resistance. This right is protected under international laws.

Nathan J. Robinson compares Palestinian political violence against the Israeli occupation to the Ukrainian counteroffensives against the Russian occupation.[61] Robinson further compares Palestinian rocket attacks into Israeli territory to Ukrainian attacks that crossed into Russian territory.[61] He concludes that both Palestinians and Ukrainians have the right to resist, and doesn't support Israel's nor Russia's right to self-defense against such violence.[61] (Robinson emphasizes that right to resist does not justify violence against civilians[61])

I don't recall him supporting Israeli occupation.
If you're talking about October 7, Hamas was restrained beyond belief, given that they have the right to resist their occupiers and torturers by any means necessary.

Reminder: Palestine was liberated once before from the Crusaders and not by convincing the European invaders of human rights or any other value but through force.
No one should be delusional that a western colonial project backed by western powers will someday recognize the humanity of Palestinians. The only principle that the west understands is might makes right. That is the principle they have applied towards colonized peoples.

Then why does you answer to my comment have nothing to do with the point of my comment.

Hamas is a political organ engaging in fully legal resistance against their occupiers.
Not that I give a single fuck about Western "international law", but even by their standards, they're not doing a single thing wrong, and if anything have shown great restraint.
More than 25000 children in Palestine are now orphans, and that's with the wildly outdated numbers. I'll give you one guess as to what orphaned them and who is left to take them in.

Right to defend is not equal celebrating death and destruction like it was some sort of a fucking party…
I agree with you, that Israel did not handle the situation like they should have. But I agree with Fedpol as well, to not let any extremist disturb the cultural peace we currently have in Switzerland.
