Good for you. I've been getting rid of a lot of brainrot fodder myself and feel a lot better for it. Also setting up time limits for apps on my phone and a bedtime lockout helps.

Same! I browse by "Subscribed" - "New" and usually don't reach the end of the new stuff.

Is there anything else left? On Reddit I just looked at a lot of small subreddits dedicated to my niche interests but Lemmy is too small for that so there aren't a lot of people to talk to unless I want to talk about news and politics.

I've been trying to do that for so long but filters don't stop posts that don't include keywords in titles so some stuff still gets through
Ex:
Title: this sucks
Post: content that I want filteredI could stop browsing Lemmy by all but some stuff still gets through even then

My top communities other than this with posts in the last 24h:
3dprinting
comicstrips
shittydarksouls
ancientinternet
isglitch
bun_alert_system
homeimprovement
cosmichorror
houston
Ya if you’re big into engaging in highly niche communities the member count can be an issue, but you can always use Reddit for those and scrub it of everything else.
