changing the email of the original admin account

I mistyped the email address of the admin account when running nodeBB setup. I have a public instance using sendmail for email notifications. I can successfully create users and confirm their email addresses. However when I try to correct the email address of the original admin account, it sends an email to the new address, but when I click on the link it says my email was already confirmed. The users section of the admin page shows both addresses, with the old incorrect one showing as confirmed and the new one showing as pending. My user page shows just the old incorrect address.

wrote 14 days ago last edited by@anchorite can you try changing the email and logging out of nodebb before clicking the link in the email? I think there might be a bug in the flow if you are logged in and click on the confirmation link.
