But google shows this imaginary trump name around the globe, not just in America. That is different to how google handles the fantasy names for lands China and Russia claim they are theirs..

Exactly. Just use OpenStreetMap and move on. It's still the Gulf of Mexico for me. I use Organic Maps.

I hope it becomes usable. If they hold there promise. Linux Wayland apps could be run through emulation layer, FreeBSD apps would run native and many MacOS apps should work out of the box.

As someone from the outside, you wouldn't even see the US specific naming. If complaining in a bug report about the fact and threatening to abandon the platform in favour of Linux is all you can do, man, don't bother xD.

The world today has nothing to do with the world 200 years ago. GAFAM are controlling the way information is shared and it's very, they are more powerful then anything humanity has ever seen. It's Big Brother from 1984.
But unlike americans, I don't consider that we should just don't care and stop whining. I'll keep fighting fascism any way I can.
