Pfft, you'll take way more than that measly slice before I need the fruit-flavored chalk.

They already make lactase drops and powder you can add to your food. I personally just think it's easier to take a couple pills before I eat pizza instead of having a bunch of chalk dust sprinkled on it.

I need to figure out how to mix in lactase drops into a dense dessert like a blizzard, because mixing the entire contents of the cup makes it soft faster.

I remember I was twenty-five and ate a medium pepperoni pizza at like 10 pm at night. I woke up around 1 am with the worst feeling in my chest. It was a horrible burning that would not go away and kept me up all night.

Yes, I discovered I had heart burn. Never had it up until this point and I have had it ever since. FUN!

This is where famotidine shines. One itsy-bitsy pill right before or right after I eat something that tends to give me heartburn and I'm all good for the night.

My biggest issue is I have a heat-tooth, but my internal anatomy feels otherwise. And there's no common over the counter pill that I'm aware of that's useful for appeasing a small intestine that wants me dead.

i find that I have significantly less problems with heartburn when I remember to eat enough fiber. eating more veggies, pulses,, wholegrain bread and fruit helps me a lot

Yeah, ranitidine and famotidine were both very good to me back when I got heartburn often, and I'll still hit them up once in a while. There's even ones that have mint coating, so any indigestion later at least has an air of freshness.

Like a half teaspoon of fresh baking soda in warm water works on contact.
