Kosher

Maybe it's my own confirmation bias but I see more dismissal of Jewish concerns than others even in progressive spaces
It might help if you don't imply Jewish people are the only targets of genocide, but I do think this very topic proves the overall point
-
The details are lacking, if this is on everyones meals, then that's ok in my books, if it only targets Jewish people then there is a problems
What if this was directed at someone wearing an Israeli flag. Does that mean it was not targeting a Jewish person and instead voicing political opposition to a political entity?

If the person was wearing the flag, and it was a one off, then I'd say, personally that it would be fine, but it seems this was just written on the kosher meals

Boo hoo, somebody has a wake up call. Because this isnt antisemitic this is targeted. It is a simple fact that the vast majority of Jewish people support the Occupation, a smaller (but still majority) percentage of people either implicitly or explicitly supports the genocide.
I know this because im acturally Jewish, ive acturally seen the occupation with my own eyes, ive spoken to more Zionists than I could possibly count, and I know that there are few fellow Jews like me.

I guess I disagree.
I wouldn’t give people notes like this I don’t think. But I don’t think it is racist. Supporting Israel is more racist than this.
Supporting Israel is more racist than this.
Okay.
Guess I should start vocally denouncing the CCP and their Uyghur genocide before I get myself a Malatang.

because you have to ask for a kosher meal specifically.
Are only jewish people allowed to ask for kosher meals?

Or just stop trying to find excuses to support the terrorist genocidal Israelis. It’s not hard.

One of Israel's goals is to equate Judaism with the state of Israel. Whilst I respect the intention of whoever wrote that note, they also are unwittingly playing into Israel's agenda.
There are many anti-zionist Jews, many of whom are some of the loudest voices pushing back against Israel. Let's be mindful of who our enemy actually is, because it is not the Jewish people
You made an excellent point, although it is missing a critical fact. Not that passengers are jewish, but that they are (probably) from Israel.
Forget about the media always highligting semitism. Criticism is directed to citizens who pay taxes fueling genocide. Nothing to do with semitism.
-
I guess I don’t care if they are offended?
Or if you are offended?
Because there is a genocide happening, being committed by the Israeli government.
You're so brave

I thought this WASNT about anti semitism

That feels like the type of nuance that a person who would assume that Jewish-person = support-for-Israel's-genocide would not have the forethought of.

This person isn't supporting genocide, you're just acting like an asshole and then pretending that anyone who doesn't like it is is pro-Israel.

Even if this were true, it would still be wrong to target a random Jewish person for your message about Israel. Members of a class should not be treated differently because of that class, even if the concerns of the wider class are valid. That is literally prejudice. Pre-judicial thinking, you are judging them early.

Which article had you seen that indicated the passengers on the Buenos Aires to Madrid flight who'd asked for kosher meals were probably from Israel?

Well, if they wouldn't be zios, they'd hardly be offended though.

In The Times of Israel. Flight final destination Israel.

Did you do the trip to Israel thing? I had a friend in college, cool kid he was Jewish and then one summer he did that free trip to Israel thing. I don't know what kind of brain washing they do, but he comes back randomly going off about Palestinians (this was decades ago) it was like all he can talk about and if you even defended their right to exist he would go into a huge tirade.

Oh yeah thats a common thing, its calling "coming to Israel, returning from Palestine". Its when you see the horrors of the occupation and immediately become radicalized. I too have taken part in this and have seen many horrors, I have seen the destruction in Gaza and I have seen the military occupation in the west bank. Through my person experiences I have come to one conclusion
THE ZIONIST OCCUPATION HAS NO INHERENT RIGHT TO EXIST
