Your Android device doesn't have a personal dictionary section in the Language & Input page? What phone do you have?

Well, first off, seems like you're mixing software-security (Phone not updated anymore) and privacy (security as in a threat model) together. Secondly, yes, disabling JS helps with both. To do that, either use uBlock Origin and check the mark in settings or google the about:confg key to do the same natively.

You're absolutely right. Chrome is the worst offender, no question about that. I'm guessing that the requirements for a PR job with Mozilla say "removed people preferred".

I really worry about places that claim that AI access is anonymous. The models they're using aren't super cheap to run and they don't get a lot cheaper with scale. When you are the product, and the anonymize the data that they sell to people, They still have your correlations there somewhere. If they get hacked, or sold, with a simply change their business model you are at risk.

Good enough to keep your ISP at bay. Good enough to keep you from getting on a list from passive checking. Not good enough to stop a state agency that wants to go after you legally. They do support port forwarding which makes warranting much nicer.

What's your OS and how are you installing it? It'd be normal for a package manager to check this for you.

Proton has an API for getting the PGP keys of all their users. I can send any proton user an encrypted email, and I attach my public key to the email (Thunderbird does this by default). Then the user only has to click the "trust key" button and all their future emails will be encrypted to my PGP key. It's 1 click for them. Tutanota has no way to do this. I read why, but its nonsense. PGP for e2ee is better than no e2ee. Tuta is naked and not a replacement for proton.

Out of curiosity, what can N++ do that VSCodium can't? That's what I've been using and it's been mostly fantastic. Wow, thanks for sharing Scoop; I had no idea of this software, and dang, that is one huge games bucket... I'm gonna have to crawl through this sometime. I'll check out XnView as well!

Well, Proton became a full suit. I need a replacement for ProtonPass and ProtonCalendar. I believe KeePassXC with Plugin support might help. But all I need is a pretty good Calendar app. There is literally none I believe. But I am unsure.

No, the point is... It might be obvious you're using that specific browser, since it'd be very niche, and combined with something like your IP and maybe something like browsing patterns that might be enough to identify you. It doesn't matter how much fingerprinting information you hide if you replace it with new information that's just as useful.

I agree! Instander APK is a great choice for those who want more features, privacy, and an ad-free Instagram experience.
