I'm on vacation and I stepped on a red anthill, and by stepped on I mean I sat on a ledge with my foot hanging over the anthill for about 10 minutes before stepping down onto it.
Stuck my foot in the pool to try to get rid of them only to ruin my only pair of pants and walking shoes I had for 3 days before we could do laundry/get the shoe dry. Also they just do not sell afterbite where I am so I've been trying different shitty creams that haven't done much for the ~15 ant bites I have on my leg.
Also this was a few days after I forgot one of our travelling phones on a bus and it was not recovered.
Also, it was my only pair of pants because I had ruined my other pair of pants when I slipped and fell into a puddle.

Yesterday I didn’t sleep, it was hot and couldn’t sleep.
Got up at 4am, went to work, ran errands. Then as I was driving I put the car in reverse in the freeway instead of 6th gear. What the fuck. Grinding noise.
Turns out the car no longer goes in reverse. I believe I bent the teeth in the synchro gears.
Fuuuu, need to pull the transmission and take it all apart. I don’t even have concrete or anything yet. I have lived here 6 months on raw land. I guess for the next few years I need to push the car if I get stuck lolI plan to have an automotive workshop when we build the garage, but that might be a few years away.

My friend wants to play games with me last weekend, but I completely forgot. It's something she wanted to do for her birthday since we're states apart and our schedules are weird. She said she's fine, but I can tell I disappointed her by missing such a simple request and I feel absolutely terrible.
However, it was a wake up call. I've been very lethargic and tired, but I just kind of ignored it, but it's now affecting my friendship, so I'm going to try to make some changes to help with my energy. I don't want to disappoint her again if I can help it.
I think I'm in a similar situation, and I totally get how your condition affecting others is a way bigger motivator than it affecting yourself. I just wish I could tell my subconscious that I'm actually a friend, as well

I made a move on a coworker I really like. Asked her if she wanted to fool around because I thought I would only be around for another week or two. But now that I've found a new place to live around here, it made me realize how shitty my train of thought was to put her in that sort of position.
Perhaps. But you realize it now, and you also have the opportunity to take things in a different direction if you want.
Communication is important. Admitting when you did something that you think is wrong is good, we all make mistakes. Tell her that you're sorry and why, and let it be. Either she will forgive you and you guys can move forward if it works, or she won't want anything to do with you, and both are fine. Emotions are complicated.

For example, today i nearly set my house on fire after forgetting a pan on the stove.
Bumped into something sharp and it cut me. No biggie. Except for the part where I haven't self harmed in 3.5 years and it looks EXACTLY like something I would've done intentionally. Mildly triggering. I'll live though.

OMG. I worked on lawn care as a teen. I still to this day avert my face away from anyone weed whacking. Received many hits to the face even with safety gear.
I know right? I wouldn't even use a weed-eater in shorts, let along a bathing suit. What got me was the contrast between the bikini and the goggles & gloves lol.

Forgot a lunch box for weeks at work, and then they threw it out while I was sick, so now I have to buy a new lunch box.
Had a colleague who went on leave and had probably $50 of lunch in the work fridge.
New admin assistant says we have one work day to get our stuff out so she can clean out the fridge, and his stuff was all tossed.
If they'd given more notice, we probably would've had time to get our stuff out then ask whose food that was, and realise it was old mate's.
