I do have to wonder if everyone stopped paying federal taxes how that would fuck over Trump. Like, would he admit he’s powerless against the numerous? Would he just lie and pretend the money is there? Would he just not pay the bills like he has historically done?

You can still use free fillable forms, you can fill out the raw tax forms yourself online and can submit them online there. Not the best UI, it's literally just the forms, but you cut out the middle man so they don't get more money to lobby congress to keep this dumb system going. It's also free if you make more then $85,000 , which alot of the "free" software isn't.

I managed to get to use this last year before Cheeto Mussolini got rid of it. It was simple, straight-forward and free for the basic filings. Of course that fucking twat waffle would get rid of it.
Unfortunately my account never managed to work/register properly. And now it never will.

Yeah you can definitely still do it on your own it's just very complicated for anyone who has more than just a job and no investment, property, etc. like a dude with one job who rents an apartment and has nothing else would more than likely have an easy time doing it, the hardest part for them would probably be the mail since no one does physical mail anymore lol

I made decent money so I won’t get the subsidized free service most likely. It’s not that I can’t afford it, it’s just that it’s complete bullshit that they spent the tax money creating a great free tax service and their shelving it to prop up fucking private corporations further. I should not have to pay a second time to a private company to pay my taxes easily. The whole system is fucked. I’m so sick of Trump‘s bullshit. Leftists have the advantage in that we can describe exactly why your material conditions are eroding while we are more productive than ever, but for someone who was privileged under capitalism, its easier to believe the system that privileged them is good and just, its just foreigners and minorities who are exploiting them.

I'm going to start a national Give Parents Freedom Act, where we will provide free daycare for any parent making under 100k/year! We will pay for it by cutting the military budget by 1%!
In my first 100 days I'm going to sign the mothers are awsome executive order mandating 1 year of maternity leave for mothers and 3 months for fathers. Employers will not be allowed to fire any new parent.
I'm also going to divert ICE money into a new consumer agency called "IYCIWFYU" (If you collude I will fuck you up) their entire mission will be to investigate corporations that are price fixing and stealing money from the people.
